With the request for Digital Portfolios on the increase it is important to understand that careful consideration and time goes into the planning and preparation of each Digital Portfolio.

Thus building an understanding of the importance of your Digital Portfolio for applications and interviews.

This course is suitable for anyone who is in need of a Digital Portfolio for university applications, professional interviews, pleasure, or for a work presentation.  It is perfect for anyone who is either a beginner or who has a limited knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. This very much ‘hands on’ course, which will give you quality support for all areas of art, design and architecture.

You will swiftly learn how to use the Adobe tools, techniques and terminology, allowing participants to create and edit digital images with confidence.

1-1 Digital Portfolio Preparation Tutorials

UK & EU: £72 per hour, 2 hours minimum = £144 per 2 hr session.
International: £84 per hour, 2 hours minimum = £168 per 2 hr session.

London Art Portfolio is very experienced at assisting you in the selection of the artwork for the presentation of your Digital Portfolio.

Each employer or university has their own specifications when requesting Digital Portfolios. If you are applying for Foundation and Degree applications, this could potentially this could be 10 different applications, each with their own Digital Portfolio expectations. London Art Portfolio can support and direct you through this to produce visually stunning Digital Portfolios. We work with you through this process so that you also learn how to digitally organise and prepare yourselves in the future.

1 week 5 Day Digital Portfolio Preparation Course

Over the duration of this 1 week course, you will cover and understand the essentials of manipulating and presenting your digital artwork using Adobe Photoshop.

You will learn to:
Comprehend image size and resolution
Set up documents and use the Photoshop tools efficiently
Explore a range of tools, that enable you to transform and enhance images
Understand layering and basic masking techniques
Create different image file formats and when to use them.
Design templates for your Digital Portfolio using modular gridding techniques.

Please note that you will need to bring your own laptop with Adobe Photoshop installed (a 30 day trial is available from the Adobe website).

In preparation for the course please gather and collect your own images in organised titled folders, on your laptop and USB ready to start your course.

By the end of the course you will have prepared your own digital portfolio and have a confident and deeper understanding of how you could extend and re-edit your portfolio for various university or work interview application requests.

The London Art Portfolio Digital Portfolio Classes are an ideal way of building your skills in Adobe Photoshop and layout whilst creating a successful Digital Portfolio for university applications, professional interviews, pleasure, or for a work presentation. These classes are suitable for complete beginners or those that have a limited knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
