Petra Metzger is a fashion designer living and working in London.
Following her graduation from the acclaimed Fashion MA at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design, Petra launched EINE in summer 2013.

She developed her dressmaking and design skills while working alongside innovative designers such as Haider Ackermann, Hussein Chalayan and Peter Jensen.

Her work is distinguished by its strong tailoring and its unabashed celebration of woman. While pursuing her profession as a designer, Petra is teaching at Central Saint Martins College, Norwich University of the Arts and London Art Portfolio.

Petra teaches pattern cutting, garment construction, sewing and fashion styling to LAP students, as well as idea development in Fashion Design. She has experience preparing successful portfolios and understanding specific entry requirements at all levels.

Her main specialist areas of teaching are:
– Building a successful art and design portfolio
– Demonstrating the creative process of developing design ideas,
– Free drawing from life
– Designing and developing a creative fashion collection.
– Presentation of a portfolio
