London Stansted Airport (STN) is Britain’s third busiest airport and one of the fastest growing airports in Europe.
Stansted Airport is located 64km (40 miles) to the north-east of London It is home to many of the UK’s low-cost airlines, serving mostly European and Mediterranean destinations.
Stansted Airport by Rail
Stansted Express is the quickest way into Central London (Liverpool Street station). Trains leave Stansted Airport from 6am to 11.59pm (from 5.30am to 12.30am, Friday to Monday). Trains run every 15 minutes (every 30 minutes for the earliest and latest trains Friday to Monday). Standard fares are £20 single and £27.70 for return (online prices). Journey time is 45 minutes and trains stop at Tottenham Hale station before terminating at Liverpool Street station.
Stansted Airport by Coach
easyBus offers a high frequency, low-cost express bus service between Central London and Stansted Airport. The service operates day and night and journey time is 1 hour and 15 minutes direct and non-stop to London (Baker Street). Prices start at £2 (online price) one way. National Express operates a 24 hours service to Victoria Coach Station that stops at Golder’s Green, Finchley Road Underground station, St John’s Wood, Marylebone, Baker Street, Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner. Journey time is one hour and 40 minutes. This service runs at intervals of up to an hour. Standard tickets cost £10 single/£17 return.

Terravision offers a low cost coach service into Central London from Stansted Airport. Terravision runs a non-stop service to Victoria Coach Station and a route to Liverpool Street Station.

Stansted Airport by Taxi
The official Stansted taxi concession is Checker Cars. Black cabs do not operate from Stansted although you can catch one to the airport.
