Fashion week arrives in London on 14th October, hailing established designers from all around the world, such as Burberry, Vivienne Westwood and Paul Smith as well as emerging new talent, BFC NEWGEN. LFC is renown for hosting the the Catwalk Show Space in The Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court houses, while the rest of Somerset House hosts further presentations and the designer exhibition. The Exhibition at LFW houses 110 designers, showcasing 30 new designers for SS13 and is open to all UK and international media and buyers. Registration will be available on site at Seaman’s Hall in the South Wing, of Somerset House, WC2 from 14th – 18th September, 10am – 7pm (closing at 6pm on the 18th).
London Fashion Week currently ranks along side Paris and Milan as one of the ‘Big Four’ in fashion. It has official sponsorship from Mercedes-Benz,a worldwide known automobile brand and Tony and Guy to name a few. Over 5,000 press and buyers attend the event which is followed by a retail-focused event, London Fashion Weekend, which takes place afterwards at the same venue and is open to the general public.
