Art Shops
MacCulloch & Wallis
This little shop lies in the back streets of Oxford Street and is a little gem as it’s floors and walls are filled with haberdasheries and the like.If you’re a textile/fashion/material/bits&bobs etc etc fiend, then this place is for you!It has copious amounts of whatever you may need, as you can see on the website, but I do advise you to have a little gander to the shop, it is lovely in there and even from the outside too.www.macculloch-wallis.co.uk _________________________________________
London Graphic Centre
They’ve been going since 1970-something and specialise in ‘material to the art and design community’ and more! Aimed more for designers, this still provides a hefty amount in typical art supplies too.Now their prices aren’t cheap, but they are fantastic for whatever you may want; the bits and pieces you can’t find elsewhere. They also have more than one store in London; their flagship and biggest is in Covent Garden and also Goodge Street and Barbican.Have a browse online to see just how much they offer and in things you may never heard of.www.londongraphics.co.uk_________________________________________
Atlantis
This is every creative person’s heaven; infact, it’s big enough to be heaven.Atlantis not only has remarkably good prices, real top quality stuff in such a range, but they also pretty much have everything (except glitter!)Nothing can be said really to justify what this place is really like, only if you visit. It’s just off of Brick Lane so when you go make sure you have a purse full of money, and enough time on your hands to wander around for fun; it’s massive. So on the website find out where it is and go, if not have a look on the shop gallery to see what all the fuss is about and also have a flick through the online catalogue.www.atlantisart.co.ukAddress:Britannia House
