London Art Portfolio’s Director, Julia Dennis, Has Been Selected To Exhibit In This Years Florence Biennale

The Director of London Art Portfolio, Julia Dennis, has been selected to participate in the Florence Biennale IX Edition 2013, which is held at the historic Fortezza da Basso, from November 30- December 8, with the theme: “Ethics as DNA of Art”

The Florence Biennale is one of the few international art events where Artists from all over the world come to Florence to exhibit their work at the Fortezza da Basso, and share an inspiring, live, and unique experience.

The Biennale in synergy with the City of Florence also present the International “Lorenzo il Magnifico” Lifetime Achievement Award. Recipients of this award include: Chen Cheng-Hsiung, David Hockney, Christo & Jeanne-Claude, Richard Anuskiewicz, Gilbert & George, Marina Abramovic, Shu Yong, José Luis Cuevas and Agatha Ruiz de la Prada. This year the award is being presented to Anish Kapoor.

The event is patronised by the President of the Republic and Ministry of Cultural Heritage of Italy as well as the Regional, Provincial and Municipal authorities of the City of Florence. – See more at: http://www.florencebiennale.org/e_index.php
