Get into the British spirit – Jubilee Celebrations at Buckingham Palace!
What better way to immerse yourself in the Queen’s upcoming Jubilee than a visit to Buckingham Palace itself! From 30th June until 7th October, Buckingham Palace is open to visitors to explore the inside and out for £16.50 (concessions ticket price).
Inside the palace you can view stunning paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, Vermeer, Claude, Poussin, and Canaletto, as well as stunning porcelain, furniture and sculpture.
As the only British monarch to reach such an anniversary, other than Queen Victoria, the Jubilee celebrations in London this summer are set to be something very special and something not to miss if you’re going to be in the capital. The Queen’s diamond collection is also being exhibited within the palace, which includes infamous jewels such as the Coronation Necklace and Earrings which have been worn by Queen Victoria, The Queen Mother, and Queen Elizabeth, as well as royal brooches and tiaras. This really is a one off opportunity to see these parts of British history for yourself, and can really help inspire your own art.
