The Queen: Art & Image

To celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this June, The National Portrait Gallery is exhibiting a stunning collection of more than 60 portraits of Queen Elizabeth throughout her reign. Ranging from pieces by Andy Warhol to Lucian Freud, this is a fantastic way to fully appreciate and explore the great variety of styles which these artists have used in their portraiture, as well as experience the journey that the Queen has undergone during her sixty year reign. What better way to get involved with the Jubilee celebrations and fully immerse yourself in all that London is showcasing this summer!

The exhibition is open on 17th May 2012.
