The subject of the weather has long shaped the content of everyday conversation, so Olafur Eliasson has focused his attention on it and installed ‘The Weather Project’ into the Tate Modern.  Using a combination of lights and humidifiers he has tried to recreate the effects of the sun.  Each of his works tries to focus on a specific aesthetic quality within the chosen natural occurrence through large-scale, elemental sculptures and installataions.
