Big in London – Damien Hirst Exhibition, Tate Modern
Damien Hirst, one of the most influential and controversial artists in the modern art world, is exhibiting here in London until 9th September. The exhibition, taking place at the Tate Modern, is a must-see and we highly recommend a visit if you’re out and about on the Southbank!
Julia visited this weekend and, although not always a huge fan of Hirst’s work, said she found it fascinating to read his thoughts behind the pieces, as well as seeing the work up close and in the flesh. As controversial as some of his pieces are, there is no denying that he is truly a source of inspiration for young artists today – whether you’re a fan of his work or not, his art stretches the imagination and explores new boundaries.
