Edvard Munch: The Modern Eye (Tate Modern)
Until October 14th the Tate Modern is exhibiting 60 paintings by Munch most of which have come from the Munch Museum in Oslo to explore the artist’s work from the 20th century, this includes a rare showing of Munch’s work in film and photography. Seen mostly as a Symbolist painter this exhibition presents how he engaged in modernity and how inspiration came to him through everyday life outside his studio and media coverage of incidents and street scenes.
The show is ongoing and tickets are £14 (with concessions available)
