The Playful City

The City of London Festival: Trading Places with the World is a festival of music and arts. It includes exhibitions, workshops, tours, family events, and concerts including St Paul’s and Southwark Cathedrals. There will be performances of new music and dance by Tancy Davies, Nigel Osborne, and Nina Rajarani. London Symphony Orchestra will be performing Berlioz’s ‘Le Grande Mess des Morts ‘ in St Paul’s Cathedral. One of the favourites of the public is the annual street pianos event which invites everyone to tinkle the ivories of 50 golden pianos placed around the Square Mile. Become a street piano champion!
