4 Week Photography Portfolio Preparation Course

A great way to build up an art & design portfolio 2026

London Art Portfolio’s 4 Week Photography Portfolio Preparation Course is ideal for building skills for school, university, or job applications. You will learn fundamental drawing skills, research engaging portfolio projects, receive career advice, and explore London’s creative scene.

Our course welcomes students of all levels—beginners, intermediates, and advanced learners, ranging from students preparing for Foundation and Degree applications or professionals seeking career changes. We cater to diverse learning needs and personal circumstances with flexible teaching formats and comprehensive support. Choose from onsite, online, or hybrid learning to suit your lifestyle and preferences.

Throughout the course, our tutors, all practising artists, and designers, prioritise research and offer ongoing feedback to help you build a strong visual journey for your portfolio. Upon completion, you will have a well-rounded start-up portfolio showcasing your breadth of hands-on drawing and 2D/3D design skills, which are crucial for university and job applications.

For students wanting to be introduced to Adobe Photoshop and extend their portfolio development, consider booking the 6 Week Portfolio Course to fully maximise their learning.

You can also enhance your experience by booking One-One Tutorials to supplement the course to further develop your start-up portfolio and consolidate your critical thinking, historical knowledge, and contextual understanding.

Small group sizes with full attendance should lead to success for committed students!
